About the Friends

The Friends of the Pollard Memorial Library is a volunteer group dedicated to supporting the library and its programs. One of our ongoing efforts is building and sustaining the museum pass program, which is one of the Library’s most popular community services. The Friends also provides funds for the Library’s Grab & Go activity kits and other programs and activities as needs and opportunities arise, and hosts a teen puzzle table and on-site events to help increase awareness of our Library and all it has to offer.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax-deductible. For businesses who wish to sponsor activities, please contact us at volunteer@friendsofpml.org.

Our funding comes from membership dues, donations, book sales, bake sales, and other events, as well as from ongoing sales from our book cart (located on the First and Ground floors in the Library next to the circulation desks).
