Children’s Reading Program

Reading Goals

The goal is to read two hours a week and to log your time. If you meet this weekly goal, you will earn a digital badge and be entered into a weekly raffle for a $25 Amazon gift card. You can read anything you want! Do you have to read for school? You can count that time toward your weekly reading goal.

Can’t read by yourself yet? No problem! Being read to counts. And, if you are the one reading out loud to a little sibling, that can count for you too!

Tell Us All About It!

You can also post book reviews on the Beanstack site. If you would rather create a book review in a picture, you can do that too! Just download your picture to the Beanstack site. Kids that post two book reviews will earn a digital badge.

The Big Fat Summer Reading Raffle

Kids that earn 7 badges for reading and book reviews will be entered into an end of Summer Reading Raffle for a $50 Amazon gift card. All reading must be logged and book reviews posted by August 7, 2020.

But Wait! There’s More!

In addition to logging reading and book reviews, you can participate in a special online challenge – Escape from the Enchanted Forest. Successfully complete various tasks and earn digital badges. Escape from the Enchanted Forest and you will be entered into a raffle for a $25 Amazon gift card.

And Even More!

We will also be offering two special virtual programs:
