Struggling this Holiday Season?

Everyone is happy during the holiday season…except those who aren’t.
For people who have experienced loss, trauma, or estrangement from their families, the holidays can be a difficult time of year. Some people suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder when the days become shorter. Â If you or someone you know is struggling this holiday season, the articles below might help. We also have a display in the Reference Room on the second floor.
The library is currently open for browsing. Masks are required in all city buildings. If you are not comfortable entering the library, you can request items for curbside pickup during our regular hours (Monday-Thursday 9-9; Friday and Saturday 9-5). To reserve a book, place a request in the online catalog, fill out a request form, or call the reference desk at 978-674-4121.
