I like romance and thrillers books. My favorite authors are Nora Roberts, James Patterson and Richard Paul Evans. Anything that I read has to have a great story line for me to enjoy it.

Just Finished

Richard Paul Evans – The Road Home

I very much enjoyed the final story of this trilogy. The adventures of finding happiness on Route 66, interacting with different locations and people allowed me to get a glimpse of the rest of the country. The Broken Road and The Forgotten Road are the preceding books of this trilogy.

Recommendations

James Patterson & Maxine Paetro offer the Women’s Murder Club series. There are 19 books so far in that series.  Number 20 is coming out soon. This is a great series for readers interested in police related fiction that also has strong female relationships tied into it.

I recommend anything by Nora Roberts as nearly everything that she writes has suspense and romance in it.

My last recommendation is Sweet, Sweet Jayne by T.R. Monaghan. It’s a story about a teenage girl, living in Lowell in the 1970s. This was a great read for me as the story captures places around Lowell that I remember when I was growing up. The story line is that Jayne becomes a runner for an underground mob leader involved in bookmaking and her search for a more stable life. There’s also a great officer who’s investigating a series of murders around the city. If you want to get an experience of Lowell from this time, I highly recommend it.
