September is Library Card Sign-up Month

Get in Your Element this Fall with a Library Card

September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the Pollard Memorial Library joins the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries nationwide to remind everyone about the valuable resources available with a library card.

The mission of the Pollard Memorial Library is to be Lowell’s gateway to knowledge, meeting the information needs and enriching the quality of life in our community. The mission of the library is to provide diverse collections, state of the art technology, appealing programs and multiple services to Lowell’s population.

From borrowing books, ebooks, and audiobooks to getting homework help, receiving support from a literacy specialist, learning new skills, or borrowing a museum pass, a library card helps everyone do more of what they enjoy. All without stretching their budget.

Interested in trying a new hobby? The library can help. Ask a librarian in person, or use either the Ask a Librarian online form or the Personalized Reading Recommendation online form today! Please visit lowelllibrary.org/services/ .

Thinking about starting or growing a small business? Pollard Memorial Library owns a number of books on small business and subscribes to the Gale Small Business Resource Center which you can use for free with your library card.
