November is National Family Caregivers Month, National Home Care and Hospice Month, and National Long-Term Care Awareness Month

Anyone who has lived with or cared for an aging, disabled, or ill relative knows how physically, mentally, and emotionally taxing it can be. Family and friends want to do what is best for their loved one, but they need support to help them through difficult times that can last for weeks, months, or years.

November is National Family Caregivers Month, National Home Care and Hospice Month, and National Long-Term Care Awareness Month. Our display on the second floor has books that address these options. The websites listed below have resources and information that can support caregivers in their efforts and decision-making.

The library is currently open for browsing. Masks are required in all city buildings. If you are not comfortable entering the library, you can request items for curbside pickup during our regular hours (Monday-Thursday 9-9; Friday and Saturday 9-5). To reserve a book, place a request in the online catalog, fill out a request form, or call the reference desk at 978-674-4121.
