Children's Shopping Day / City of Lights Parade Next Saturday!!! Don't Forget to Donate!!!
The Friends of the Library are looking for donations of unwrapped gift items that a child might buy for their loved ones this Holiday season for their 3rd Annual Children’s Shopping Day (Saturday, November 29) when kids aged 4-14, can shop for holiday gifts on their own or with the help of a library volunteer. The kids will also get help wrapping and tagging each gift. Proceeds to help support library programs.
The Friends are looking for donations of:
- Knickknacks / memorabilia / gadgets / stationary
- Unopened puzzles / games / craft gifts
- Gifts for men or boys / tools / ties / scarves / gloves / hats
- Gifts for women or girls / scarves / costume jewelry
- Legos / toys
- Children’s Books / DVDs / CDs
- Gift bags / tags / tissue paper/ tape
You may drop off your items at the ground floor of the library between 10am-2pm on Saturday, Nov. 22, Monday, Nov. 24, Tuesday, Nov. 25, and Wednesday, Nov. 26th. Donations are tax deductible so don’t forget to ask for a Donated Goods receipt.

Enjoy one stop shopping at the Pollard Library. Select from hundreds of items costing between $1 and $5 each.
10AM-1PM: Kids only (ages 4-14)
1PM-2PM: Kids (ages 4-14) and Friends of the Library members
2PM-4PM: Everyone welcome.
