Book Award Season

Are you wondering what you should read next? Take a look at the books below, which have been nominated for The Booker Prize, The National Book Award, or the Carnegie Medal for Excellence. You’ll notice that some of the books appear on more than one list. The Booker Prize and National Book Awards were awarded recently, but we’ll have to wait until January to see who wins the Carnegie Medals. Let us know if you read and enjoy any of the books on the list.

The library is currently open for browsing. Masks are required in all city buildings. If you are not comfortable entering the library, you can request items for curbside pickup during our regular hours (Monday-Thursday 9-9; Friday and Saturday 9-5). To reserve a book, place a request in the online catalog, fill out a request form, or call the reference desk at 978-674-4121.
