Around the World in 80 Books - the last one!

We have made it to our final destinations.  I hope you have enjoyed this trip around the world, highlighting books about countries big and small. Our Moroccan novel was longlisted for the 2022 Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction. The Canadian book was nominated for the 2020 Hurston/Wright Legacy Award for Debut Fiction. The Danish book is the first in a series, and the author is one of the most widely read crime authors in Denmark. The authors from Mozambique and Russia have both won literary awards. Our monthly selection also features books representing Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, and Republic of the Congo.

The library is open for browsing. Masks are optional. If you are not comfortable entering the library, you can request items for curbside pickup during our regular hours (Monday-Thursday 9-9; Friday and Saturday 9-5). To reserve a book, place a request in the online catalog, fill out a request form, or call the reference desk at 978-674-4121. If you love these books, you can write a review or place them in the “Awesome Box” at the ground floor checkout desk.
