Around the World in 80 Books
We have another set of international books on display. Our Mexican book was longlisted for the National Book Award for Translated Literature in 2020, and the book from Sri Lanka was on the 2021 Booker Prize shortlist. The New York Times recognized the book from Ghana in its top 100 books of 2020, and the representatives from Japan and Trinidad and Tobago received multiple starred reviews. We are featuring books from Romania, Somalia, and Sweden as well.
The library is currently open for browsing. Masks are optional. If you are not comfortable entering the library, you can request items for curbside pickup during our regular hours (Monday-Thursday 9-9; Friday and Saturday 9-5). To reserve a book, place a request in the online catalog, fill out a request form, or call the reference desk at 978-674-4121. If you love these books, you can write a review or place them in the “Awesome Box” at the ground floor checkout desk.
