Adult Summer Reading is almost here!

Why should kids have all the fun this summer? The Pollard Memorial Library is happy to announce that we will be offering a special adult only summer reading challenge for patrons.

Pick up your game card starting on Tuesday, June 20th and opportunities to participate will be offered through September 1. Complete 1 challenge or all of them for your chance to participate in a raffle for prizes of gift cards and library swag. Return your game card on or before September 1st to be included in the raffle. Rather participation online? Go to

Game Overview & Rules:

The Adult Summer Reading Program runs June 20th—September 1st at 5 PM. All game cards must be submitted by 5 PM on Friday, September 1st to be included in the raffle for prizes. Winners will be notified by telephone or email and names will be posted on the library’s blog, and social media pages.

Patrons will receive 1 raffle ticket for each box completed.

  • 1 prize per participant.
  • Patrons must be at least 18 years old and have a valid library card or eCard. Patron’s accounts must be free of fines to collect prizes.
  • All book, e-books, and audiobooks that fit the category count.
  • Library staff and trustees are not eligible for the raffle prizes

Challenges include attending library programs, visiting local Lowell businesses, utilizing library resources (such as our Patron Review Form and Personalized Reading Recommendation Form), and much more!
