Special Closings
Each month, the main branch of the library is closed the first Thursday for a monthly staff meeting. Â The library will open at 11:00 am and offers hours until 9:00 pm.
Occasionally, alternate hours for both branches will arise. Notification of this closure/delayed opening will be announced on the website banner, signage on doors, and our social media platforms.

Inclement Weather
We do our best to keep the library open but there are occasions when the library closes without much notice, due to inclement weather, blackouts, etc. Inclement weather closings will be announced on AM 980 WCAP. You can also look at the top of the webpage or our social media pages for announcements of closings. You can also telephone us to see if we are open. If you call 978-674-4120 during inclement weather and no one answers you should assume we are closed.
