Children’s Summer Reading Challenge 2026

June 22 – August 14

Children get a reading log to track their reading.  The weekly goal is 2 hours. 

Each week children come in with their logs to get stamped.  Then they get a spin on the prize wheel and a raffle ticket toward one of the prizes for our end of SRP raffles. 

Prize Wheel – Spin for Bronze, Silver, or Gold prizes 

 

YA Summer Reading 2026 (Grades 5-12)

June 22-August 14

Upon registering, teens and tweens in grades 5-12 will receive a paper log with weekly goals and activities, and a raffle ticket. Once a log is filled out, participants will submit it into the raffle prize drawing of their choice. Participants will earn extra raffle tickets if they attend library programs during the summer.

Adult Summer Reading Challenge 2026

June 24 – August 7

Weekly prize drawings all summer long. Grand prize drawing the week of August 10.

How It Works

  • Pick up a bingo card at the library or DOWNLOAD ONE
  • Complete activities on the board throughout the summer.
  • Submit each completed square using the online form below. Each square = 1 raffle entry for that week’s prize drawing.
  • Complete a bingo line for bonus raffle entries.
  • Complete the full board for bonus grand prize entries.

Program Details

Participants must be 18 or older. A valid Pollard Memorial Library card or eCard is required to claim prizes. All reading formats count, including print books, ebooks, audiobooks, graphic novels, magazines, and more. Participants may submit multiple entries throughout the summer. Each bingo square may only be submitted once. Library staff and trustees are not eligible for raffle prizes.
