We're Open & Bird Show Is a Go for Saturday 1/31 @ 10AM - followed by Jackie Robinson Movie @ 1pm
Happy Thursday everyone! The Great Dig Out from Blizzard 2015 is well underway and the library is open for business today. The snow banks are still pretty high around the city so please use caution while driving.
Also please note the previously postponed bird show from January 24th is still on for this Saturday January 31st at 10am (barring any further weather related closures). A naturalist from Drumlin Farm in Lincoln will be bringing by a Kestrel, a Great Horned Owl, and a Cedar Waxwing. We can’t think of a better cure for cabin fever. This, of course is all made possibly in partnership with the great folks at the Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust.
And you can stick around after the bird show for a special movie matinee. We thought we’d get to Thinking Spring and celebrating Black History Month at the same time by showing the recent Jackie Robinson movie biopic. Show starts at 1pm.
Stay warm out there!
