Non-Fiction Book Club to Discuss "Truman" by David McCullough β Thursday, August 1st @ 6:30pm
It’s time to get started reading the next non-fiction book club selection: Truman by David McCullough. Don’t let the short title fool you, this is a massive tome. Β This time we’re giving you two months (the library is closed for Independence Day the first Thursday of July, so we won’t be meeting until the first week of August).
While you may want to drop some money and buy the e-book version of this title (especially if you’re planning to take it with you to the beach) I’m told this book is very readable with McCullough’s trademark epic storytelling in common-man language.
