Spring Greening Clothing Drive - Mayor's Office Collecting Clothing Donations until April 17
In honor of “Mayor’s Day of Recognition for National Service” the City of Lowell’s Mayor’s office is pleased to support this year’s Project 351 8th grade Ambassadors from the Kathryn P. Stoklosa Middle School and Pyne Arts Magnet School. Project 351 builds unity and leadership through the yearlong engagement and enrichment of an 8th grade Service Ambassador from every city and town in MA.
This year, the Service Ambassadors are holding a clothing drive. If you have any gently used clothing that you no longer wear or want, please help our cause by dropping off any of these items:
- Clothing (infant sizes to adult sizes Small & Medium)
- Shoes, boots, sneakers, and sandals
- Winter and rain jackets
- New socks and underwear
- New Pajamas
- Books, especially baby board books
- Brand new arts and crafts/school supplies
- Baby supplies, especially bedding
- Baby equipment, especially strollers and car seats within five years old
- New toys (new toys are used for birthday gifts)
- New hygiene supplies
*Clothing should not be ripped or stained. Please place your used clothing into bags. Donations can be dropped off at the City of Lowell’s Mayor’s Office (375 Merrimack St., Room 50) until April 17, 2014. All donations will benefit local children through Catie’s Closet and Cradles to Crayons
