It’s a local author bonanza at the Pollard next week as we’ll have not one but two great local authors here to give talks and book signings:
Ianna Hondros McCarthy “Stickier Rice, Clearer Purpose”

Local author and UMass Lowell alum, Ianna Hondros-McCarthy will present her book on mindfulness and Buddhism which tells her experience traveling through Thailand and America. The practice of mindfulness is being embraced by many to: accomplish their goals, increase emotional intelligence and reduce stress. Practitioners include people from all walks of life and all ages. It has been featured on “60 Minutes” and is taught at Google, in schools and even n the Marine Corps. Come learn more about this practice.
Stephen P. O’Connor “The Witch at Rivermouth”Â
Thursday, May 28 at 6pm
Local author Stephen P. O’Connor, will read from and discuss his new novel, The Witch at Rivermouth (Merrimack Press 2015). The reading will be followed by a book sale and signing. O’Connor is the author of a previous book of short stories Smokestack Lightning and the novel A Spy in the City of Books.
