Before Tom Glavine, Pedro Martinez or John Smoltz there was…Jackie Robinson.

Join us to celebrate Jackie Robinson’s birth anniversary by watching a recent popular biopic from writer/director Brian Helgeland.  Robinson paved a new road for minorities by being the first African-American to play in Major League Baseball since the racial barrier was put in place in the late 1800s.  Voted  National League’s Most Valuable Player in 1949 and elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962.
