Please be advised that our hours this weekend will be as follows:
Friday 9 am - 12 noon
Saturday 9 am - 5 pm
Sunday - CLOSED
Monday - CLOSED

As always, our materials drops on Colburn Street will be available for those returning materials and our Library 24/7 of electronic resources, catalog and e-materials will be available over the holiday weekend.

Fun Packed Halloween Week begins in Lowell

 Happy Friday everyone! We thought we’d share a fun video of a Thriller Flash Mob in front of St. Ann’s Church as part of the 2011 Monster Bash. As Halloween nears and autumn deepens, there are lots of great ways to get in the spirit of the season. Our friends over at COOL have compiled a list of Halloween Fun – including  of course Monster Bash & Downtown Stroll, and the Scarecrow Festival both happening tomorrow. And don’t forget we’re having our annual UN-Scary Halloween celebration for the kids at the library next Tuesday at 10:30am. Lots of reasons to dress up and eat candy. What could be better to get you primed up for Trick or Treating in Lowell (6pm-8pm on Friday, Oct. 31.)?
