Family Friendly Flicks start this Thursday!
The Pollard Memorial Library will be offering a collection of family friendly films on select Thursday nights throughout the summer. A variety of 1980s childhood favorites are being offered with recent children’s movie hits to allow great family time together.
Families are encouraged to attend and enjoy free popcorn during the screenings. All Family Movie Night films will start promptly at 6:00 pm and the movies being presented are rated PG (Parental Guidance suggested).

June 22 – This 1984 movie follows a young boy who explores a world of fantasy when given a magical book that shares the story of a young warrior who is tasked with stopping a dark storm from taking over the inhabitants. Movie is 1 hour and 42 minutes long.
June 29 – Released in 2017, this movie follows a certain superhero who enjoys black and charcoal gray as he faces numerous villains and their plans to take over his city while adjusting to life with a newly adopted orphan, his lifelong butler, and the new police commissioner.  Movie lasts 1 hour and 44 minutes.
Additional movie nights will be held July 13, July 20, July 27, August 10, August 17, and August 24.
