City of Lowell Open Space Survey
You can help the City of Lowell as it prepares an update to its Open Space Plan to provide a framework for the City, private, and non-profit institutions for allocating resources for parks, recreation and open space over the next 5 to 10 years. Once completed, the Open Space Plan will be used by the City to guide land protection efforts, maintenance programs, and enhancements to existing recreational facilities and programs. It will also enable the City to remain eligible for state funding for open space preservation and park improvement projects.
As part of the planning process to update its Open Space Master Plan, the City of Lowell has developed a survey to seek input from community members. Community input is extremely important in helping the City develop the Plan that reflects the public’s opinion and needs regarding green space and recreational opportunities.
Please take a moment to participate in the survey, which asks a series of simple questions related to your recreational activities and priorities for future open space amenities. Your contribution is a crucial part of the planning process and will help shape the City’s vision for the future. Please complete the survey by Monday, May 27, 2013.
