Blood Drive @ LGH this Friday for Victims of the Marathon Bombings

Lowell Fire Chief Edward Pitta sent out this message yesterday:

In the wake of the tragic events at the Boston Marathon yesterday, many have inquired how they might help. It is anticipated that the many surgeries and repeat surgeries necessary for those injured may place a strain on regional and local blood supplies. To help maintain the supply at adequate levels, Lowell General Hospital is sponsoring a blood drive. For those wishing to donate, the information is as follows:

WHEN: Friday – April 26, 2013
WHERE: Lowell General Hospital – Saints Campus
First Floor Conference Room (near Dunkin Donuts in lobby)
HOURS: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (may be expanded depending on volume)
