Audubon Event to Take Flight Wednesday, Nov. 5th 6:30PM - 2nd Floor Reference Room!
The birds are up so come on down! Thirty of the nearly 100 Audubon prints have been framed and hung in the library and they are quite a sight to behold. You really need to come down and see them in person. What better time than at the kick off event this Wednesday, November 5th at 6:30pm in the 2nd Floor Reference Room when the Pollard Library, the Pollard Library Foundation, and the Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust welcome Christopher Leahy from Mass Audubon to give a talk about the prints. This event is free and open to the public. You however, kindly asked to RSVP at info@lowelllandtrust.org
This event  and the Year of Audubon was also recently featured on Lowell’s “Thinking Out Loud” show on Lowell Cable Channel 8. Watch the video below!
Also, special thanks to Grant Welker and the Lowell Sun for the nice article in today’s paper about the Audubon prints and our Celebrating Audubon kick off event this Wednesday.
