Adult Summer Reading is Here!
Summer Reading… Not Just for Kids!
Why should kids have all the fun this summer? The Pollard Memorial Library is happy to announce that we will be offering a special adult only summer reading challenge for patrons entitled “Lowell Reads – Summer Edition.”
Pick up your game card starting today and opportunities to participate will be offered through September 4. Complete 1 block or all of them for your chance to participate in a raffle for prizes of gift cards and library swag. Return your game card on or before September 4th to be included in the raffle.
Challenges include reading your favorite children’s book, downloading the Libby app and listening to an audio book or reading an e-book, read a digital copy of the paper from the day you were born, and much more! We’ll be hosting some special arts & crafts activities throughout the summer, as well as ending with a special Adults Only Summer Fun night, where adults can celebrate some of the best activities of summer by acting like a kid again! Check out the calendar of adult and family themed events at http://pollardml.org/events/library-calendar
Patrons are invited to share you experiences via social media and get involved in all of the great opportunities that the library provides. You can also access the game card by downloading it today to get started. Click on Game card to get started right now!
