3rd Annual Pollard Library Fall Fest - Saturday, October 12th - 10am-4pm
We know there’s a lot going on around Lowell this weekend. Hey, there’s a lot going on in Lowell any given weekend but this one is particularly busy. Lowell Celebrates Kerouac! is having their annual festival (more on that later), the American Textile History Museum is having a special Super Saturday Event, there’s even a St. Patrick Cemetery Tour. AND the we’re having our 3rd Annual Fall Festival here at the library. We’ve got lots of fun for the whole family so even with all that’s going on you should consider stopping by.
10AM-4PM:
Friends of the Library Bake and Book Sale. That’s right, the Friends will be selling tasty treats and great reads at rock bottom prices.
10AM-11AM:
Pumpernickel Puppets give a fun spin on the medieval tale of “St. George and The Dragon” Sign up is required. You can sign up in person at the Youth Services Reference desk or by phone at 978-674-1529.
12PM-2PM:
Kids craft activities. While supplies last. Featuring Pumpkin Decorating for the first 30 participants.
And as an added Kerouacian bonus our resident researcher and local historian Bill Walsh will be leading the Lowell Celebrates Kerouac! Hookey and Haunts Library Tour departing from the Merrimack Street Entrance at 3:30pm.
